Rules

No Cleats!
All players must wear shinguards.
All teams must arrive 15 minutes prior to game time.
There will be no changes to the schedule.
High School League Rules
All players must wear shin guards
All teams must have matching color jerseys
NO CLEATS
All games are running clock
No offsides
No slide tackles
Unlimited substitutions
No added injury time
If the ball hits the ceiling or the lights, an indirect free kick is awarded to the opposing team
Keeper may not touch the ball with his/her hands on a pass back
No throw Ins, kick Ins only
All free kicks are indirect, except penalty shots
On all indirect free kicks, defender(s) must be 10 feet from the ball
No punting
No dropkicking
The ball must touch the defensive end of the field before going into the offensive end of the field when distributed by the keeper or on a goal kick. The violation will result in an indirect free kick from the midfield line for the other team
Player fighting will result in expulsion from the league
Corner kicks as per FIFA rules
All games have running clock
All teams must have NJYS player passes
All Games will start at scheduled times. Lateness will decrease playing time
Red Cards, players must sit 1 game
Yellow Card, 2 minute suspension
Standings - Win = 3 points / T = 1 point / Loss = 0 points
Tie Breakers:
1. Head to Head (does not apply to 3 way ties)
2. Goal Differential
3. Least goals allowed
4. Coin Toss
*If a game ends in a tie in playoff or championship match. The winner will be determined by sudden death penalty kicks.
Situations or occurrences that these rules do not address, shall be left up to the sole discretion of the Sports Factory Management
